The good juices flow out the bottom and when the liquid level falls to the point all the good broth is drained you let go of the handle and have nothing but the fat left in the drainer

The liquid doesnt slowly drip out so you have to wait forever and it doesnt gush out like niagara falls either it releases at a good pace

Dont even think about spending loads of time and frustration trying to spoon off or by other means remove oil or grease from liquid in a pan

When full it leaks a tad and it is a bit annoying when you need to wait till the oil separates and you end up losing a fair bit in the time needed
