Pros & Cons

Pros

These are very nice stainless steel bowls. The silicon is priceless to have on the bottom of a mixing bowl. I really like the way these bowls cling to the counter when i am mixing things.

The bowl is the size advertised (6. Qts) the biggest is big enough to let a batch of bread dough rise in and the smallest is still big enough for comfortably whipping eggs or cream. This is the perfect size to mix big batches of cookies or salads for ...  Read More

The non-skid bottom saves you from the risk of spills and is helpful if you have younger/older kitchen helpers. Nice rubber bottoms keep bowels in place while you’re working.

Rubber bottom is fantastic on the counter top, not affected by hot substances, and helps prevent scratching when stacking the set. Base tends to soften up in the dishwasher and i have found with anything silicone, it eventually softens and stays a bit...  Read More

Cons

The stainless is not as good as others i have purchased. They just fall short on quality.

Highlights

Quality

Well made, easy to clean, very sturdy and the bottoms do not slip

The silicone bottom along with the lip make it stable and easy to handle and stainless is easy to clean.

The lines weren't straight and already peeling at the edge of the rubber

The rubber part is on the outside and is part of the bowl so it does not pull away.

Price

These work really nice for a moderately priced set of stainless steel bowls.

We got them on sale, so we're pretty happy with the set.

These are not cheap, not that expensive but not cheap.

The silicon is priceless to have on the bottom of a mixing bowl.

Shipping

The items arrived on time and i was able to use all three bowls.

Competitiveness

I am so happy, i bought several other amco stainless bowls as well, in various sizes.

Not light weight garbage like some of them you buy

The rubber seems to wear a little though

For me it was narrower than i was hoping it would be as a somewhat wider mouth is easier for getting in and mucking around with bread dough

I needed to find a bowl that matched others we have but bigger

The biggest is big enough to let a batch of bread dough rise in and the smallest is still big enough for comfortably whipping eggs or cream

The bowls bottoms do give them a bit of extra grip which is nice when tilting the bowls to whisk or scrape

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The only reason i would go for a set of allmetal bowls would be because they are better for using as a double boiler or in ice baths i wouldnt use these bowls for either
