I have just found it to be one of the most useful utensils i have ever owned, and the quality is absolutely super!
Price
To keep the cost down, steel manufacturers will make grade 304 with 8.
Packaging/appearance
This ladle will definitely see a lot of use, but i wish they made one that was half the size—it would be much more convenient for home use.
Competitiveness
This is why i give it a 5star.
It’s very awkward to use in my 6qt crock pot and shallow 6qt stock pot, but works quite well with my larger 8 and 12 qt pots.
You are getting your money's worth for a (16oz - 3/4 cup) ladle w/strainer.
I own a lot of amco products and can vouch for their quality.
