As it's a wider lens, i am able to utilise the microphone built-in on the camera too. In future when i eventually go for an upgrade i can imagine i'd still have this camera in use for secondary purposes.

The privacy cover is also a very nifty addition. The camera cover is easy to attach and further protects the camera lens.

This doesn’t mean the image is bad, generally the image quality is good and would be acceptable for web cam chats (work and social etc).

I have been very happy with the quality and ease of use of this camera

- mic quality is better for amcrest.

However, the microphone quality is not up to scratch therefore i had to use an additional microphone due to the poor quality.

Price

The amcrest awc195-b is a brilliant little camera for the price.

I couldn't believe how good a picture it was and a such a low price.

They offered up a number of potential fixes prior to shipping a fresh unit.

There is no nasty software to install, no oversized packaging to store/landfill, and it really works well.

The camera features a sleak wide and low profile design which allows it to rest on top of a monitor without being unobtrusive.

It offers a 1080p 30fps video which is nice but isn’t the best i have seen.
