By default the network video recorder nvr puts its 8 poe ports on its own lan ip range

You will need to plug in a laptop with a compatible browser and the amcrest plug in installed on the browser prior into one of the poe ports on the nvr to set up passwords on the cameras

I suggest using the same user name admin since that name is a required account anyway and password on all the cameras for simplicity

Port forwarding on your router needs to send outside wan port requests to the static ip lan address that you assign to your nvr
