Pros

Both methods work equally well. The webcam privacy cover is a nice plus. Nice picture for a cheaper webcam.

Cons

Camera never enters the promised 30fps. Strange flickering on video feed, like wavy lines on the edges of the video.

The amcrest comes with a removable privacy shield leaving you in no doubt that the webcam is not able to see you in the noodie.

The only reason i don't give this a 5-star review is because of the microphone.
