Nvr is a game changer. Hdmi and vga output. Three led indicator lights and a usb port on the bottom left side. One thing that i would have liked to see from amcrest is the ability to play audio from the nvr connected cameras.

This lets you get in deep with the camera's settings. It probably helps with bandwidth on your router as well. Triggered recording is a nice perk.

Amcrest's nvr can handle up to 6tb hard drive, which is good, since the video streams are extremely high bit rates. the frame is designed for 3. Hdd and not only 3. The unit supports both 3. Tb and 4.

It work with cameras on it's wan interface and wifi as well. Tells you which port the camera is plugged into. Linking in the wifi cameras was also pretty easy.

It is unintuitive to use, and configured differently for each way you can interface with the system. This by itself is enough reason to scrap the entire device.

This is maddening. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this is such a frustrating negative experience that i have no other recourse. The phone app is different.

The nvr installation & setup manual is 75 pages of techno-jargon. It's glitchy, meaning that it randomly drops cameras. Even though this is an amcrest nvr, none of the models of cameras from the dropdown lists are for amcrest.

Motion detection is a hassle. You can't change any configuration to the cameras using it.
