The camera's image sensor is excellent, at 8mp. The sensor's b&w quality is a step above others i've tried. Color night vision is a great feature that helps me make sense of the objects it detects.

Cons

Hard-pass if you need high framerates or poe to function properly and get the specs sorted out. I would expect cameras like this to work until they are obsolete.

Camera is garbage and pixelating for no good reason. Beautiful cat6 cable terminations and no reason for this *. decent hardware but terrible software.

Amcrest support is non-existent. All software aspects of the company were written by a high schooler. The snapshot is only displayed in the event list within the app.

Good quality resolution and easy to use.

The sleek design delivers sharp 5mp resolution, even in low light.

Lightning strike caused my sv3 cameras to lose their ir function (great cameras also) .

This is a great camera for the price and i would recommend it.

Highly recommend if you need a reasonably priced 4k poe camera!

$50 does not seem like huge issue until you are ordering 30 at a time!

I contacted them via email and got a response quickly.

I was able to get a replacement camera shipped to me quickly and the second camera worked perfectly out of the box.

About 10 seconds into the video the clouds arrive.
