This is not recommended for total night use if their is no light as image is very poor to none existent

I used poe connection for each camera camera has extra wiring for remote power source and also sound both not required for camera use

It did take some time getting familiar with the nvr software and configuration of motion detection and recording options

I was able to schedule normal recording of video from the all the cameras separately from motion detection recording and notification

Now whenever there is motion detected i receive a txt message on my phone with a snapshot of the image where motion was detected

The motion video is also recorded on the nvr hdd

You can see from the attached images they are quite sharp even in the black of night where there absolutely no light anywhere
