Built in microphone is good. Perfect for domestic settings, and the diy’er- a really good microphone. The quality of the built in mic is adequate. The audio is clear, it picks up on voices well.

Camera is very well packaged in shock absorbent material. The waterproof network connection is easy to hook up and is a must if mounted outdoors. The camera is certainly weatherproof.
