The amcrest ipm 723 is a bit on the skinny side. Works great to extend the power an extra 10' to plug into the inside of my garage for an exterior driveway camera.

I used electrical tape to ensure this connection did not come unplugged if the camera had to be pulled out for any reason.

Cons for inwall installationfor the amcrest security camera and its power cord both mated and worked correctly without issue however there was no means to lock the cables together to keep them from pulling apart

I ran my cables in the wall to an outlet box where the end of this cable was positioned and was plugged into the 12vdc power supply which was in turn plugged into a nearby 120v outlet

I had to anchor this end with plastic zip ties to ensure it didnt disappear out of the box and back into the wall

I think there should be a clip or something that can lock these together for that reason
