Pros

Camera is well-constructed and easy to control from the smartphone app. Degree wide angle view is incredible. Good and clear picture, also good night view picture.

With the web browser mor details can be set. Ipcamviewer has the advantage, that you can activate https (ssl) these cameras are very sophisticated with many options for customization of performance.

Cons

The wireless signal on this camera is terrible. Attempted to connect on my guest network with all security disabled still won’t connect thru the amcrest pro ios app. The user interface did not allow me to utilize the dual band feature.

They are not sold as novelty but as security cameras for which they can't be depended on. Tryed 2. This one is defective.

Picture quality is great, its got a wide enough view to cover an entire 12x12 room and still see all 4 walls.

I wanted a camera that was very versatile, amcrest was the right brand and this camera did not disappoint!

Competitiveness

As i mentioned in the past, i very much enjoy the amcrest products.

I have several amcrest camera's and the product is top notch.

I didn't even bother to use amcrest app, i only used once just to get it connected to my wireless.

If you want to be able to adjust the camera in any direction you will need to buy a compatable wall mount.
