This microphone is beautifully suited to podcasts, livestreams and conference calls. I even like it more than my analog xlr microphone going into a mixing board and then into the computer. Good audio pickup quality.

I like that you do not need to loosen any * for the arm to swivel. The adjustable tripod stand is also a nice inclusion. My only complaint is the stand/arm that comes with the microphone.

This mic is built solid and transmits a crystal clear sound. The audio is crisp, and clear, without any distortion or background noise. The sound quality is significantly better than one of my wireless headsets.

Cons

Hot garbage. It mic sounds horrible no matter what adjustments are made. And it has a short inside the mic.

I didn't like that the box came in dented since amazon throws my packages over the fence.

Packaging was excellent as is typical with amcrest products.

Competitiveness

This microphone is fantastic for a mic at its price point, better than the similar neewer mic in my opinion.

Comparable to the blue snowball in quality.

While you can’t compare a $55 usb microphone to studio quality equipment you might be as surprised as i was.

I have nothing but the built-in laptop mic to compare it to but it sounds much better than that.
