Pros
It is running at 4,1ghz using the oc feature fast of asus ai suiteii, which is comming with the mobo's cd. I have this paired with 16 gigs of ddr3 and a asus crosshair v motherboard.
The setup and temp room temp c. Idle temp 25-28c. Make sure you get a good cpu cooler (h100 or a big dual 120/140 fan heatsink) the cpu runs at a cool 35 degrees under load, 30-32 degrees at idle.
I do have a few qualms, however. It is kind of power hungry. The only troubling thing i've seen so far is that it's not truly an 8-core cpu. This cpu is stable, fast, and handles everything i throw at it.
Cons
Even my motherboard's bios setup makes this thing overheat. With 48 hours on time, maybe 10 hours of that time in use, now the screen flashes at randomly intervals.

This processor runs very well and is much cheaper than its competition.

So much more for the money than intel
It is beaten in almost every category by the intel 3770k.

Most times the cpu meter is around 6 to 20 percent capacity and memory usage is steadily under 18 percent

Amd has made many improvements on this line of processors and the modern equivalents perform much better
