Pros

Easy to install, comes with thermal paste pre-applies so no need to worry. Have had issues in the past and didn't want to take a chance of bricking a mb. No major issues for like 2 years yet. No problems while gaming or running cad programs.

Decent upgrade from my ryzen 5 1600. Don’t forget to upgrade bios if needed.

Cons

The cooler is a terrible piece of equipment with 4 screws that supposedly require a little downward pressure to screw down. However, a 240lb man pushing down to the point of nearly busting the motherboard. This cpu is already a few years old.

After two years of operation, the processor burned out.

Upgrade from amd fx6300 that i built way back in 2014 (9 years running strong, no hiccup).

Still great bang for the buck in early 2023.

Amazing price to performance if you can buy it for less than 100 bucks (bought it at 95).

At at this price pont that would matter.

4650g has a free $41 graphics card.

B) a wraith stealth cooler, boxed separatelyboth orders were satisfactory and met my expectations.

- the second came as two separate items:a) a cpu packaged in an official amd-sealed box with no fan - just warranty information.

Btw, package came in damage/slit open, but cpu and cooler are ok .

I note that it had a box cooler on it and there were 6 fans in the case
