Easy to install and performs like a champ.
Frame times are so much better and it just makes everything overall much smoother.
Popped this cpu right in, spread some corsair thermal paste, and viola!
My 2600x died after 4 years of light use, and i needed an emergency replacement as i use my desktop for work.
Competitiveness
Compared to the athlon 3000g they started with, it was a huge jump in performance (5x the mt performance from 3x the core count).
I would imagine a 3070 or even a 4060 would be a better match for this cpu.

As their system was a b450 based am4 system it was as simple as a firmware upgrade and dropping in the 5600x

Since almost no places sell 2600x cpus anymore unless you order off ebay i decided to go for the 5600x as an upgrade

Ive had 0 issues with this cpu in my pc build and id recommend to anyone who wants a good and fast budget pc

The bad thing is that the cooler that brings is very small and heats a lot the processor in standby maintained temperatures of 62c even the cooler that brought my ryzen 1600 was bigger
