Pros & Cons
Pros
The 7600x is an absolute powerhouse. This is a very fast cpu especially when you are coming from a ryzen 5 2600! The only issue i have had is the heat. It's also very easy for thermal paste to fall into the grooves of the new ihs.
Cons
Intel is a better performing processor and more versatile. Feels dishonest. Your money will be better spent reinvested in 3d cache chip.
Highlights
Quality
Kind of wished i had gone with the ryzen 7, but i've got no real complaints.
For gaming, it gives great performance over the am4 cpu i had.
However, their seems to be some stability issues with the default overclocking setting on my motherboard (not xmp/expo, that works fine) .
My hottest temperature was 83c during thermal testing during a very difficult x265 video encode with the slowest possible settings.
Shipping
Board and chip arrived fast and in great condition.
Competitiveness
Replaced a box with a ryzen 5 3600, huge gains.
This is a very fast cpu especially when you are coming from a ryzen 5 2600!
Between the b650 mobo, ddr5 ram, and 7600 ryzen cpu, it boots slow.
So here i am learning the cons of the competitors.

Regardless the only time those temps were even approached was with a run of cinebench r23 so youll never reach temps that high during gaming or regular use

While you do lose a couple of cores and may lose some productivity performance in terms of video editing and graphic design there is barely a difference when it comes to games
