Performance
Customers are highly satisfied with the performance of the AMD Ryzen 5 8600G, praising its powerful abilities and impressive gaming capabilities. Some have noted slight differences in single core performance compared to other models but overall express satisfaction with the value for the price.
Highlights
Quality
Very impressive gaming abilities playing aaa games such as fallout 76.
Pro 1: paired with 6000 ddr5 this cpu shows its performance.
Con: bad ihs design with many gaps for tim to get suck in and it has.
Edit: on benchmarks it skyrockets easily at 95°c, meaning it's about to thermal throttling.
Price
Pro 1: extremely high cost/value ratio even at its initial higher listing price.
Check out the 7840hs mini computer's if you think you will never spend $200+ on just a graphics card.
Anyone getting to gaming on a budget should be satisfied with what this little sucker can do.
I recommend it if your budget is limited.
Competitiveness
Don't compare these 65 watt cpus against 65-130+watt cpus that also have a 200-300watt graphics card.
Using benchmarks it compares very similarly to the ryzen 5800x i use on my own desktop pc.
The 8000 series is mostly the same as the 7000 series, but with a better/more gpu performance.
