I run this thing on obs at 1080 60 fps on twitch and it rarely ever pixlates or lags the stream either.
The hottest this cpu gets is 68c under full load with the stock air cooler!

At the time i purchased this combo it was a great deal.
Nice cpu for the $ and its faster than my expectations ever were.
This should last me for a bit, unless amazon holds another prime deals day :)
If you are building a pc on a budget, i highly recommend the 3700x.

Got this in 2020 and even with ryzen 7000 coming out it still runs great.
Unlike intel, powerful at a price that wont hurt your wallet.
I have used an intel core 2 quad which, from experience, was much better than an intel pentium 4, but which is laid to waist by this beast.

Running at stock settings the cpu rarely hits more than 70°c even under load which is impressive for a cooler that comes bundled at this price point

Nowadays you got better processors like the 5800x just built my little bro a new pc with this cpu and you got 7000 series of ryzen coming out later this year so unless you are on a strict budget building your son their first pc or maybe need a second computer do try to buy this second handed from someone you can trust
