Processor allows you to do sooooo much at once. Runs all games fine. Halo infinite is around 120fps. It's never a bottleneck for any game or app i use.

Cons

I order 1 and whoever delivered it set it under my leaky ac unit and the package was completly soaked through. Now cpu is dead. Cpu shutting down computer every minute. Even computer shutting below 40 degrees.

This is the first issue i have had with amd product, * my entire rig is amd/asus. Very few x470 motherboards support the bios update without a cpu - asus has one. Every am4 motherboard says it supports gen 1 and 2.

When using the zen2 with an nvidia card, the video driver crashes repeatedly. Amd denies any issues with their chip, even though this does not impact intel using the same nvidia cards.

The hottest this cpu gets is 68c under full load with the stock air cooler!

This cpu is a beast with out a lot of power and heat--with a tdp of only 65 watts!

Price

At the time i purchased this combo it was a great deal.

Nice cpu for the $ and its faster than my expectations ever were.

This should last me for a bit, unless amazon holds another prime deals day :)

If you are building a pc on a budget, i highly recommend the 3700x.

Competitiveness

Unlike intel, powerful at a price that wont hurt your wallet.

I have used an intel core 2 quad which, from experience, was much better than an intel pentium 4, but which is laid to waist by this beast.

I've heard that amd is better than intel, but i have little professional opinion.
