The 16 threads made light work of multi-threaded applications, and the processor's high clock speeds made single-threaded tasks a breeze.
I run this thing on obs at 1080 60 fps on twitch and it rarely ever pixlates or lags the stream either.
The hottest this cpu gets is 68c under full load with the stock air cooler!

At the time i purchased this combo it was a great deal.
Nice cpu for the $ and its faster than my expectations ever were.
This should last me for a bit, unless amazon holds another prime deals day :)
If you are building a pc on a budget, i highly recommend the 3700x.

Got this in 2020 and even with ryzen 7000 coming out it still runs great.
Unlike intel, powerful at a price that wont hurt your wallet.
I have used an intel core 2 quad which, from experience, was much better than an intel pentium 4, but which is laid to waist by this beast.
