Pros

The integrated graphic card uses your onboard ram instead of using the built-in graphics. The igpu works on aaa games on 30fps, which is great if your gpu failed or something.

The cpu is an excellent 8 core 16 thread part that will not let you down. Paired it with a mini itx board, 32gb of ram and a 1tb drive, in a fairly compact case. Using in a digital audio workstation with 128 gigs of pc3200 ram and a western digital bl...  Read More

It works surprisingly well. Works fine in windows 10. If you can pick it up on sale it’s definitely worth it.

This is a great apu for those who can't afford an actual dedicated gpu. Now i have a 1660ti and the 5700g functions fantastic as a cpu.

Cons

Asus armory crate is a terrible product. I can't get the video drivers to work. It's a waste of money. Get a cheaper cpu and find a cheap gfx card.

Price

Hands down it was worth the price i paid in march of 2022.

Also kept the cost down so i could get a really nice-looking case.

Competitiveness

The integrated graphics aren't bad, i have a 144hz 1080 display, and everything is butter smooth until you load up newer games.

Came from a ryzen 5 1600af on my original system (a320) paired with a gtx 1060 6gb and that worked pretty well for me.

Very shocked with this things performance (coming from a ryzen 3 2200g & 9th gen i5).

I primarily use lightroom and other photo editing software, only lighter gaming -- skyrim, minecraft, etc.
