I got a performance boost of around 20 in 1440p resolution where cpu differences are minimum so i can only imagine the gains at 1080p

I paid about 42k which is a huge amount for a processor and i probably would never have bought this if i was building a new rig since that money is better spent on your gpu

I have an amazing 360mm cooler which used to keep my 3600x under 70°c even at full load but the 5800x3d hovers around 80°c to 85°c under full load

Additionally if you are using your computer for workloads other than gaming this processor is pretty bad value for money
