Pros

My old fx8350 gives me about 16fps, the 2700x about 40fps. Way less stuttering, higher 1% and average fps.

If the air cooler is to much pressed onto the cpu i got 67 degrees celsius on idle - adjusted right and spread nice the thermalpaste with an spatula, i get 49 degrees celsius. Really high quality cpu works extremely well. Ghz on all cores with ease.

X gives me about 70fps. Handles vr in an htc vive pro 2 max settings when paired with a 3080ti. No bottleneck to speak of.

Cons

Amazon tells me i can't return a computer component after 30 days, even though it is defective. However, contacting amd warranty support is like dealing with some kind of criminal enterprise. Have been waiting 2 weeks for a refund and still nothing.

The motherboard is fine, but the processor has been acting up. Lost tb's of data trying to troubleshoot this cpu. Big thumb print on the middle of the cpu.

Keeps shutting down during windows installation and rebooting over and over again. Seems others have had similar problems with amd 5000 series of cpu's. Checked different combination of ram dimm slots still same problem. I tried to boot into win fix b... Read More
