Upgraded from the 3900xt. It's amazing how the 5950x cpu-only upgrade gave this 3950x premium build a next-generation performance jump. I have it running on an aorus master x570 with 64gb ddr4-3200 cl16, with a samsung 980 pro (in the pcie 4.

This is a great processor but my experience was the first processor was doa. The upgrade is noticeable.

My server has two xeons with 8 cores each. Definetely worth it for multi-core applications.

You've been warned, gl to everyone ordering from here. Still no luck fixing this junk. I almost didn't catch it, the pins are small and there is a lot of them.

Bought this processor to replace my 5900x that had started throwing whea errors.

Its the best value for the money on the market and i think it would keep you happy if you are moderate game for 3-5 years to come.

Under $1000 i have this bad boy along with 128gb of ddr4 ram.

I originally planned on buying an 8 core cpu but when looking at the prices the 16 core was only $100 more.

I set out wanting to build new generation system when i saw this bad boy below $400 and did something crazy.
