R9 7900x is a great cpu for all modern games. Capable of running most modern games over 200fps at 2k max settings. Everyone says get the 7700x if your pure gaming.

The 7900x is either defective or it cannot handle high / med load for more than 1-5 minutes. If you are building a gaming machine, these cpu's are pretty much a pointless money drop. Don't even try to run cinebench or p95.
