Pros & Cons
Pros
Definitely recommend reviewing them before attempting this step. Great for productivity and gaming. Worth the money.
Love this cpu. Cpu was packaged perfectly and works like a champ. Performs exactly within spec. Very powerful cpu and highly overkill at this moment.
Now it works flawlessly with 6000 mhz. The system drives dual dell ultrasharp 27 4k monitors. The usb hub - 4x 9-pin usb 2. Gen 2 drive. The 1tb m. Ssd drive can be used to connect to the internet via a usb port. The hub can also be used as a usb hub ... Read More
Cons
The 7900x is either defective or it cannot handle high / med load for more than 1-5 minutes. If you are building a gaming machine, these cpu's are pretty much a pointless money drop. Don't even try to run cinebench or p95.
Highlights
Quality
Easy install with the new am5 socket and zero issues with software set up or hardware compatibility.
Easy to install and great for applications and games.
I moved from a thread ripper to this 9 7900x and was immediately blown away by the frames and how smooth everything was.
Both intel and amd new cpus are made to push it to the max hitting 95 for normal use.
Price

Got mine on a prime day deal for $350.
Got a deal so it was worth the price.
Packaging/appearance
Cpu was packaged perfectly and works like a champ.
Works perfectly and came packaged extremely well.
Incredible power and the package came in damaged!
Competitiveness
This r9 7900x is a great cpu for all modern games and is more affordable compared to similar intel cpus.
Compared to other 7900x's, this one performed way better and has a great high clock speed.
The 9900x will eventually be a better option but right now it's not worth an extra $100 for nearly same performance.
It's also funny to me that even though intel has now gone with "efficiency cores", ryzen 7000 cpus use significantly less power... Read More
