Thermalright amd5 cpu shield - this allows the aio or waterblock to make way better contact with the cpu hs. As the am5 cpu has no pins (the mobo now has the pins), its imperative you are gentle on the placement. Lian li evo dynamic case.

The 7900x is better when compared to gaming, we have about samesys as far video card 3070 * nvdia cards their is 5% to 10% difference in fame rate. It also outperforms the 7700x in many areas.
Corsair dominator platinum 6200 ddr5 ram 32gs samsung 990pro m. Now it works flawlessly with 6000 mhz. Upgraded from the ryzen 5 2600. Was a good upgrade from the 5900x. Ghz 12core 24threads.
Cons
The 7900x is either defective or it cannot handle high / med load for more than 1-5 minutes. If you are building a gaming machine, these cpu's are pretty much a pointless money drop. Don't even try to run cinebench or p95.

This r9 7900x is a great cpu for all modern games and is more affordable compared to similar intel cpus.
But overall, i prefer this to the rzyen 5 i had previously.
Everybody seems to compare these to older cpus temps.

I tried a noctua cooler and a 240 aio but the cpu simply boosts to 95c and stays there regardless of the cooling solution
