Pros & Cons
Pros
Extremely happy with this cpu. Really like amd's apps and ease of fine tuning. No issues start to finish. Efficient power usage for a high-end cpu.
Intel's 13/14th gen is just as good as amd's 7000 gen for gaming and workloads, depending on specific use case. They both outperform pretty much any intel cpu in most games. The extra l3 cache with 3d v- cache is a game-changer for gaming.
X3d is great for gaming, but if you want a bit more flexibility and a cpu that can handle everything, the 7900x3d is a better bet. The 7800x3d offers better performance in gaming because it utilizes a 6 core 3d vcache (opposed to 8 on the 7950x) the 7... Read More
Jack of all trades master of none. Paid the premium to own it first. Good value for money. Not bad tho.
This is my first build; it's fast, and it has not overheated and caused a fire. A bit quirky with how to set it up (like battery performance being balanced? Runs a tad warmer then the intel, but it flies.
Cons
The rest of the box is just a useless foam block. Ryzen cpus apparently fluctuate like pork belly futures, only more volatile.

Great cpu, i can keep it cool while performing really good
This cpu blew the doors off my i9 slowtel inside computer that died due to ibuy-- put the rad upside down, air got into the pump.
These cpus are also blazing fast and badazz.
Price
Really fast cpu, draws 120w only, and the price point is nice too!
If you want a cpu that does it all and aren’t afraid to invest in some cooling, the 7900x3d is worth every penny!
I feel like i stole this at $319.
It could stand a $100 off tho.
Packaging/appearance
The rest of the box is just a useless foam block.
I suggest stating that the item is a gift to insure it ships in a box.
Take a look at the photo of the box.
Competitiveness
A lot of people say that the 7800x3d is a better gaming cpu due to the full 8 cores getting the x3d cache vs the 7900x3d which ... Read More

The 7950x3d would be a better choice for me but costs.
