Works great in our entryway for hanging jackets and backpacks. My only caveat is that they need to be placed higher than the average persons eye height. They are gorgeous.

Purchased these for a master bath knowing there would be wet bath sheet sized towels and pool towels hung on them

Their projection is significant perfect to be able to handle the weight of large wet towels but its at eye level someone could potentially hurt themselves that would be poor planning and not the hooks fault
