Didn't get any cork grease with the instrument so used vaseline instead and it does the job for putting the mouth piece on.

Purchased sax for beginner so can't really comment on tone quality, though whenblown with correct embouchure, it sounded fine.

Fantastic buy and very reasonable in price.

Still mainly playing tenor, but get the odd hankering for variety - so bought a chinese cheapy curved soprano .
This sax certainly looks the partwith its natural 'shell' buttons and hand-carved design on the brass body.

Currently for the past couple of days am struggling to get a clean low bflat am hoping a new mouthpiece should fix that

A word of caution when opening the case itself becausethere is no logo on the lid to indicate the top
