Pros

The plates are functional, durable, and sleek. They have a half inch lip, not curved - an actual sharp edge lip so it's modern as well as practical for sauces. They washed up beautifully in the dishwasher.

Simple and durable. Easy cleanup. Comparable to a really expensive set we got from our wedding registry.

Cons

They look pretty cheap even though they are ceramic. Most alarming is how easily they scratch after one use with just a fork. Did not replace.

I don’t think you take into account that gifts bought on a registry aren’t shipped to or experienced by the people who buy them.

I had an issue with delivery and the seller / company had went over board to make sure my purchase expectations were met.

Btw, the packaging is outstanding and no chance of damage!
