Purchased for sturdiness, style, and size. The are extremely durable. They are quite sturdy and i expect to use them a long time.

The lip makes them useful for houses with children or those with issues manipulating utensils. If you're having anything with sauce or gravy they catch all the drippings and they go right from the fridge to the microwave to the dishwasher.

They stack well and look great on the shelf. They are prefect for the table setting i had in mind.

They are a true, shiny, black and looked like they came with my black and white teacup and saucer. The black gloss looks great too.

This is the worst product i've had the displeasure to ever receive. The outter ceramic coating is that of decorative ceramic and not functional ceramic for active uses. My gripe is with the vendor.
