For the price i paid ($10) this tester is awesome.
Great value for this tester for the price of it.
I would say that this is an inexpensive and basic cable tester .
Even with it's faults, considering the price, i give it 5 stars.

It comes in a nice carrying bag with a key chain attachment that you can clip on your belt.
The tester comes with a nice pouch/case to carry it in.
Competitiveness
The bag is a nice addition for the same price as many identical testers!
Other connectors just slide in and out; there must be slight differences in brands of plugs.

When i first received the tester and installed a battery it would not work on known good cables

So now i know that the battery has to be a regular alkaline battery in tip top condition for this tester

So i cancelled my return and revised my rating from 1star doa to 4 it seems a good tester for a low price device if you use a good battery

Consthe leds bleed through each other and the mode switch isnt great
