The lows are low but not muddy, the mids have a variety of tonal options and the highs can be bright without being too sharp. Great sound from a small package.

It works as a monitor wonderfully when plugged into a p. The angled side is perfect. I do like the angled back on this unit, tilting it back allows it to face you better and it does sound louder/better in that position.

Great tone shaping. Most professional musicians know that bass ampeg tone and this little guy did not disappoint! I like the tone a lot, and for the price it has very reasonable features.

Size is big enough to punch out for mid sized church functions. It's bigger than the pic puts out. With the volume on 4 it is more than enough - and i'm not run through the house!

Cons

Amp doesn't work. Volume jumps up and down without touching any knobs. Speaker rattle makes it sound like a child's toy.

The construction is perfect, the build is so tight you couldn't push a playing card between the grill and cabinet.

I have had all brands of amplifiers in the past and all sizes.

I came across this little combo, tried it out at the store and couldn't believe how loud it was, or how similar to the svts the sound was.

It doesn't seem to make a huge difference in sound, at least compared to what i've heard in the various online video demos.
