Some people want to portray hanson as the great american. Everyone else is just jealous.
Highlights
Quality
A good collection of essays writen after 9/11, worth reading.
His writing is precise and very readable.
He has a sharp tongue, a sharper wit, and a nasty ability to deflate the reputations of those he sees fit to target.
Still, one might add that such armies are formidable if well lead.
Price
That being said, i enjoyed the book a great deal, and would recommend it.

The only type of detraction that i can make from the book is that the essays do become redundant after a certain point

Hansons predictions have mostly come true such as the need for the us to take on not only the taliban but also saddam in the wake of the attacks
