The ancel ba301 battery load tester is an excellent tool to have and check your batteries in your cars and specially if you have a boat. I like that it can do cranking test, charge test, and battery test. This device is incredibly useful, and i’m glad... Read More
The dealer was impressed with bt-301. The only criticism i have is the plastic housing and the cables seems a little cheap but that's really nitpicking, it's a great deal. Overall, a recommend from me.
The charging test tell you how well your battery is getting charged. Has three small leds that tell you status of battery if it’s green (good), orange (recharge battery and test) and red (replace the battery) also shows the bike is charging the batter... Read More
Ancel battery tester can help diagnose if you need a battery replacement. It acts like an oscilloscope to boot. It is very reassuring to know whether your vehicle battery is going to fail.
Has a a bright lcd display that lets you see the screen very well. The display is responsive and works fine. The tester has a backlit color display that shows up well.

Fire up the app in windows, plug the unit into a usb port, and then send recorded waveforms to the app using the buttons on the unit.

For a quick cheap tester to keep on the truck or boat, i believe it's perfect.
Would have been an expensive mistake if we didnt try this tool out first
Gives a lot of information for the price point.
This one is a good one for the cost imo.

Both units arrived at the same determination for each battery.

Competitiveness
So far, the accuracy has been as good as the other testers.
This tester is better than the rest and a great value.
I checked out the reviews on youtube for that particular name brand and saw that it was being compared to the ancel ba301 tester.
Now, i'm not saying that this ba301 is going to replace my midtronics anytime soon but, from my quick comparison, the results a... Read More
