Pros

Bluetooth obd reader is fairly easy to use on my 2011 135i. Can communicate with all of the various can bus subsystems on the car. We have a 2011 bmw x5 e70 and this scanner locked right into the dme, and did things that other scanners couldn't.

Excellent product as always from ancel. Researched and found this on amazon. Worked like a charm. However, there are a few clues that suggested it might be just a little bit more.

It starts scanning for the tool immediately and connects within seconds of turning the car on. The connector fits. The bt code scanner works well.

Cons

The app and the written instructions are poorly translated from chinese. Despite the false statement compatible with iphone, ipad & android devices, there is no support for android. Only worked few a few things on my bmw.

Local bmw dealer wanted $250 to reset an airbag light that came on after i replaced my passenger door window regulator.

This is a fabulous bluetooth dongle from ancel.

I bought this to scan my bmw to get more details than my other scanner and it does in fact provide manufacturer specific codes.
