Good instruction booklet and simple to use. Since the vd700 came out these became more reasonably priced. Also comes with a charging cord — the mini b male charging cable.

Cons

Would not retract the rear electronic park brake. Ruined passenger seat. Do not buy this for your vw, audi, bmw or anything german.

This is advertised as a */skoda reader. This said it works on vw passat's, it does not. The support is non-existent and the manual is awful.

Attempted to use the fake cable with vcds lite and couldn’t get it to work.

Turns out it's not that difficult of a job however you must have a tool to release the electronic parking brake.

I got a quote for some crazy dollar amount from the local vw dealer for changing out the rear brake pads on my 2020 vw tiguan.

The tool of course went on sale the day after i received mine and is now 17 bucks cheaper.

I purchased a more expensive unit that couldn't reset the maintenance due light on the wife's audi q5 with no issues.
