Pros & Cons
Pros
My husband is a retired master plumber. This adapter works perfectly. Adds about 1 of extension to the 1/2 female pipe fitting for a shower setup.
Very sturdy - excellent craftsmanship. But no leaks, no problem for me. Good price, fast delivery. Can't knock it for my own inability.
Cons
I assume someone loaded the bins incorrectly, and the picker just grabs and does not even eyeball the vast size difference between the ordered and the picked. Inaccurate description.
Female 3/4” seems fine but the male 1/2” in defective. The shank length of the male end is too short to securely fit a standard1/2 female npt fitting.
Reported the fitting to mislabeled and mis-shipped on both orders. Won't go more than 1 or 2 threads into the device. Still leaks at one end or the other, regardless of how much or how little teflon tape is applied to the threads.

Packaging/appearance
Used this to replace the tiny gauge on the sharkbite tee which was 1/8 threads.
