I hooked this wire into the elastic rope that is also supplied with the poles.
If i had to do this again i'd pick a slimmer version with the same section length.
Just had a successful weekend camp with the new poles.

The poles feel well made and cut down easily to match my broken poles making the repair a doddle.
Other than that small suggestion well worth the money.
Turned out too large a size, the original poles have too much room inside the new ferrules and new poles too large for original ferrule.

Unscrew the base from the sensor
