Pros

We love it and when it dies will get another. Good purchase for the price. It works perfectly.

The f-hole mandolin is a great addition to a guitar amp. It's great for practice, but the feedback from the amp is insane. It sounds great at every gig, even if you don't have a pickup.

It's been a perfectly good tool for a beginner making recordings at home. Good frequency response for a rock or country band. Cuts through the guitar and bass mix rather well.

It is very lightweight, stay secure on the violin without damaging it. Easy to attach and works almost as clear as the $100. I keep a few around for general use/experimenting, etc.

It is inexpensive. Very inexpensive pickup. Would recommend to a friend.

Cons

It works ok if it’s directly plugged into the mixer, but you have to turn it almost all the way up to even hear it. Inconvenient and upset at purchase.
