I wouldnt recommend leaving the finished ice cream in the maker bowl as it will freeze solid

However dont do what i did which is take the lid off and sit it on the counter with the paddle still in place that way you get melted ice cream all over the motor housing and its a sod to clean

Only one complaint the shipping cost was exorbitant and not warranted for such a small parcel

It is easy to clean too with no small difficult places to reach

My one quibble is that it is messy to fill and tricky to clean as you cant immerse the electrical part in water to clean it properly

Good machine to have in this kind of weather but you do need to take the ice cream out straight away to stop it freezing to sides and also make sure the machine is going when you poor your mix in
