Pros
Used halogen cookers for years and no longer find lifting the lid off easy. Its my second andrew james the first one lasted many years.

Cons
It's almost impossible to safely get the meat juices out of the bottom to make gravy.
Customer services reluctantly agreed that a spare bulb would be sent out. It overheats after 5 minutes of use and won't turn on again. Bulbs only have a 30 day warrenty and both of mine packed in in less than a year.

I've had no problem with the fan or anything else.
This is a first class quality item, i think it is the best one of all i've seen, hence my second purchase.
The first was of a shopping channel it was good but not as efficient as this digital one with the hinged lid .

It's very hard to get its connecter out of the hole.

Less energy consumption as there is no waiting for it to heat up

Not really suitable for baking though as the heat is not evenly distributed under the baking tin resulting in wet centre

The bulb failed on the last one and while we were attempting to replace it we realised that a new one was needed

It has less annoying finish bleeps as well and if you stop it the time goes back to zero ie you cannot add minutes for extra time without starting the sequence again
