It works brilliantly in all areas however i discovered why its got a gentle function while packing three bell peppers they got slightly crushed in the normal mode which is entirely my fault and it did highlight how strong the suction was

The buttons are all the plastic blister type which im not a fan of because over time they very often split and fail rubber buttons would have been better

The only other negative is that the machine only works with the supplied roll if you use it at full width 40 cm which is a pain if you want to bag chicken breasts individually for example

You can easily make a 20 x 20 cm bag using the inbuilt cutter but then the vacuum doesnt remove the air from the bag so even small items still need a 40 cm wide bag which is inconvenient and wasteful

The performance is a world apart from the cheaper model i had bought previously and in retrospect thats to be expected i guess but still it was potentially a massive false economy and the difference is pretty spectacular
