I use it mainly for slicing joints of cooked meat and it’s great. Effortless slicing of turkey and beef.
Cons
The blade and carriage combine to drag the meat through despite wetting the blade as directed. The on/off button is badly situated.

There isn’t really an issue with cleaning and there are a few books and cranny’s yes but easily cleaned meat slicers would have a thorough clean after each use anyway so this ain’t really an issue for me
