Its not too heavy and the blades went through some impressively large branches 2p diameter ish

The cutting blades are 51cm long and have 16mm tooth spacing

Safety also seems to have been given a high priority and theres a hand guard plus to start the cutter you have to press two triggers but to do so is comfortable whether you are left or right handed

Although the effect is less pronounced just like a shotgun when you start a hedge trimmer there can be a kickback and this unit has a device to minimise that effect which works well
