You can select the degree of cooking and the meat before hand and the probe will beep when the desired conditions are reached

One down side is it does cater for a not a test for fish which is a disappointment

The probe has a clear lcd display which you can either take a temperature read or programme which meat you are cooking a specific temperature – in which case an alarm will beep when it reaches temperature
