Fresh crusty bread was fine so i suspect those who said it didn’t do the job may have been rushing things

I got so fed up with paying for sliced meat at the deli counter in the supermarket and the prepacked sliced meats are equally poor value for money

Hopefully as this is belt driven and not plastic gears which melted together and burnt the motor out as on my previous slicer should give many years of reasonable use
