Pros
It is quieter than others i've used. This means it is quicker to take a rolling pin to the ice bag. Fairly noisy, but not unacceptably so.
This machine certainly crushes ice however as there is no plunger to feed the ice in. Got this for making margaritas, absolutely works at treat.
Cons
A total worthless gimmick. No crushed ice. Shakes and angles to get the blades to bite into the ice but it jams again.
After four months stopped working. Doesn't work in the slightest. Is very disappointing. Not surprising as the cogs are made of plastic and the whole item is just cheaply made.

Does exactly what it saysthe on off switch is simply to close the ice hopper therefore very easy
